Summer Camp equals learning, making friends, and having lots of fun! Skilled, experienced Montessori educators and other staff provide loving guidance and an environment rich with creative opportunities and a full range of activities from "the 3 Rs" to gardening and art. Experiences both physical and intellectual will help your child flourish.

Each camp session is 2 weeks long - we ask that you enroll your child for a minimum of four consecutive weeks. Available scheduling options include 3 or 5 mornings, School Day (8 am - 3 pm), or Full Day (8 am - 5:30 pm).

Harwood Summer Art Camp • Ages 6 - 12

Since 1996, Harwood has offered Summer Art Camp for Kids. Art Camp is a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural art program for kids ages 6-12. Children of all skill levels are welcome. The program runs in four two-week sessions with full day (9 am - 4 pm ) or half day (9 am - noon or 1 pm - 4 pm ) availability.

Classes run the gamut from basic drawing and painting to collage, batik, clay, Native American weaving, Capoeira, percussion, collaborative mural painting, Banyana, mixed media, Flamenco, film making and printmaking. Classes change from year to year and session to session although favorites are likely to be repeated.
